Please read the voice studio policies below:

Policies

Payment

  1. Payment for services (including, but not limited to, single voice lessons and voice lessons packages, group coaching, semi-private voice lessons, and Masterclasses) will be billed at least 48 hours in advance via invoice before the voice lesson. Payment is due upon receipt.

  2. Payment types include cash (for in-person lessons only), credit/debit card, and PayPal.

  3. If payment is not received 24 hours before a scheduled voice lesson, the lesson will be canceled. Once payment is made, the lesson can be rescheduled.

Appointment Scheduling

Voice appointments can be scheduled by emailing thesoulvoicestudios@gmail.com. Some lessons may also be scheduled via text or cell phone call.

Appointments

  1. Being on Time: Please arrive on time for your scheduled voice appointment. If you arrive late, the voice appointment will end at the scheduled time. If the previous lesson runs over time, your lesson will still be allotted the full amount of time.

  2. Expiration: Single voice lessons, voice lesson packages, group coaching, and semi-private voice lessons expire six months from the date of purchase, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing prior to purchase.

  3. New clients are required to have the free 1/2 hour intro voice lesson prior to registering for any additional voice lesson appointments, group coaching, semi-private voice lessons, or masterclasses.*

  4. All clients need to purchase the recorded set of vocal warm-up exercises from the Northwest Institute of Voice. Emailed instructions will be sent prior to the first lesson on how to purchase and download the vocal warm-up exercises.

Refunds and Cancellations

  1. Clients can reschedule or cancel their voice appointments prior to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, coaching, or Masterclass.

  2. Cancellation or rescheduling within 24 hours of the lesson appointment time will result in 100% forfeiture of the lesson credit*. The cancelled lesson will not be rescheduled (this only applies to the lesson that was cancelled within a 24 hour window). 

  3. If the voice appointment cancellation is due to the fault of Renee Montgomery, then the lesson credit may either be rescheduled or a refund can be granted for that canceled lesson only.

  4. If a client needs to cancel or reschedule a voice lesson, please email thesoulvoicestudios@gmail.com. Or, you can text. Notifications of a cancellation or a reschedule for a voice appointment must be in writing, and prior to 24 hours to maintain full lesson credit to reschedule, or to receive a receive a refund for a cancellation.

  5. To be refunded for a prepaid single voice lesson or a voice lesson package, any remaining lesson credit, less 5%, will be refunded back to original card used to make the purchase, or to PayPal.

*There are some specialized Masterclasses and group coachings open to potential clients that do not require the 1/2 hour free intro lesson prior to registering or participating. Notfication will be given if the Masterclass or group coaching is open to potential clients.

*lesson credit is the amount paid or owed for lessons.
